Job Purpose

We are looking for a senior individual with experience in market research. Any additional work experience in marketing in general may be an advantage. Finally, previous work at Kantar and knowledge of our branded solutions may also be an advantage.


Main Responsibilities


MANAGING CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS

Growing Client Relationships

  • Is accountable for building stakeholder relationships.
  • Responsible for the delivery of high-quality standards across all client interactions, from the design and project plan to the delivery of results.
  • Inspires/motivates team to deliver best work and continuously improve the client relationship

Understanding Clients Business

  • Designs the best research solution to answer the business question and lands this with the team and client.


WINNING WORK

Revenue Generation

  • Together with Business Planner evaluate new paths for revenue growth from the client based on their business needs.
  • Is able to identify a situation where it would not be in the company's interest to supply a quote e.g. due to operational factors, conflicts.

Bringing Opportunities to life

  • Has a passion and commitment for recognizing opportunities and converting these into briefs.
  • Able to take an accurate and informed verbal briefing from a client and able to write a reverse brief.
  • Has a proven track record of asking the right questions and challenge clients on the brief (using Goldstar).

Proposal Writing

  • Proven ability to develop winning proposals using Goldstar approach in a quick and efficient manner.

Proposal and Pitch Delivery

  • Helps develop creative approach to proposal delivery that sets Kantar apart.
  • With a help of the costing team, addresses all relevant sub-contractors, estimates all direct and internal costs, and suggests the final price for the client (ensuring the project meets the profitability targets).


MANAGING PROJECTS

Study design

  • Suggests the most appropriate study design for the client’s research objectives using either existing Kantar solutions or an ad-hoc approach. Knows when to recommend primary study: (quantitative, qualitative, neuroscience, combined approach), or non-survey approach (social listening, secondary analysis, advanced analytics, etc.)
  • Proposes the appropriate target group, sampling, length of the interview.
  • Ensures the local specifics are taken into consideration when planning multi-country projects
  • Develops or advises and signs off research materials (questionnaires, discussion guides,..) - ensuring questions are aligned with client objectives.

Project Management

  • Managing, coordinating, and analyzing international research projects (quantitative and qualitative) on different markets across the whole world
  • Accountable for monitoring team against project schedule.
  • Inputs to managing project capacity and effective resourcing
  • Attends internal meetings
  • Identifies risks early and puts contingency plans in place to avoid risk exposure, escalates to senior management where appropriate
  • Accountable for anticipating and adapting project schedules in order to meet client needs and capacity constraints.
  • Monitors financial performance of the running projects, and controls that the actual costs are in line with the budgeted ones.

Managing Timelines

  • Consistently anticipates problems and finds solutions within a project and escalate to senior management.

Best Practice Operational Execution of Research Projects

  • Champions best practice ways of working with internal Ops team and operational partners.


DELIVERING ANALYSIS TO GENERATE INSIGHTS

Analysis

  • Can effectively plan and support analysis and reporting around clients' real business issues.
  • Analyses and integrates the survey data (quantitative, qualitative,…) and non-survey data.
  • Analyses multi-country study, with the respect to local specifics.

Report Writing

  • Creates a clear, accurate storyline and writing insightful, concise and compelling reports without director review.
  • Can create a document with clear logic and flow that is client ready.
  • Looks for new and innovative ways to convey story - infographics, illustration, video, metaphor, etc.

Inspiring Presentations and Workshops

  • Able to adapt reports and presentations to meet the specific needs of the audience (taking into account role, style preference, company and culture).
  • Is an effective and engaging presenter (in English).

Požadujeme

Essential requirements

EXPERIENCE

  • 4 or more years of experience in Client Service, Account Management, Research Design etc.
  • Experience with leading multicountry projects.

PERSONAL SKILLS

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Good story teller.
  • Need to be flexible as required by situation – occasionally need to be very hands-on projects but need to shift gears to helicopter views and insights with bigger scopes.
  • Cultural awareness & openness.

EDUCATION

  • University degree in the field of Research and Marketing/ Economics/ Sociology/ Psychology/ Business Administration/ Statistics/ Mathematics or similar qualification).

LANGUAGES

  • Czech native.
  • Fluency (written and spoken) in English.
